Why to study Computer Graphics: The importance of computer graphics lies in its applications. In engineering applications (e.g. automotive and aeorspace), the ability to quickly visualize newly designed shapes is indispensible. Computer graphics has also expanded the boundaries of art and entertainment.Its also used in virtual relality.

Prerequisites:

  • Basic Geometry, Trigonometry, Vectors and Matrices.

  • Basics of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Course Outcome:

       CO1: Draw line and circle using different algorithms

       CO2: Implement polygon filling algorithm for a given polygon.

       CO3: Use 2-D and 3-D transformation algorithms for given input shape

       CO4: Apply polygon clipping algorithm for input polygon.

       CO5: Generate fractals for a given input

       CO6: Create simple animation without using any animation tool.
